What makes Saggio’s restaurant so special?

Sure pizza is our bread and butter, and, while we have made literally too many pizzas to count since we opened across from UNM in 1977, Saggio’s authentic, home-style Italian comfort food has been our true pride and joy.


We use Casale family recipes, brought by our parents from Italy in the 60s. Our families and children grew up on this vibrant and delicious food.


For the last 43 years we have been feeding the UNM and Nob Hill area’s students and families in a one-of-a-kind atmosphere filled with memories and memorabilia from six decades of popular culture.
